Welcome to the official website for Darrin Madeley’s Hockey Camp (“DMHC,” “the Camp,” “we,” or “us”). By accessing or using this website, registering a camper, or submitting payment, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.
The Camp operates in the State of Illinois, and these Terms are governed by Illinois law.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Darrin Madeley’s Hockey Camp is a privately run hockey training program hosted at a partner facility in Illinois.

Note: The above address is the location of the college where the camp is held, not an administrative office.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Participation is limited to players within the age ranges and skill levels specified during registration. We reserve the right to decline or cancel registration for any reason, including capacity limits and safety considerations.
3. REGISTRATION & PAYMENT
To secure a spot, families must:
1. Complete the official registration form; and
2. Submit full payment through the accepted payment methods (Venmo, PayPal, or other methods provided).
Spots are not guaranteed until payment is received.
Refund Policy:
Refund requests made on or before May 1 will be eligible for a refund, minus any applicable processing fees.
Refund requests made after May 1 must be reviewed and approved by the Camp. Refunds after this date may be granted only in cases of:
- Family emergency
- Injury
- Illness
All refund determinations after May 1 are made at the sole discretion of camp administration.
4. FACILITY USE & CONDUCT
The Camp is hosted at a partner facility. Campers and families must follow facility rules, staff instructions, and all safety protocols. The Camp reserves the right to dismiss any participant whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or in violation of camp rules. Dismissed campers are not eligible for refunds.
5. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Hockey is a physical sport involving inherent risks, including falls, collisions, impacts, and injuries related to skating and equipment. By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these risks on behalf of their child.
6. RELEASE OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted under Illinois law, the parent/guardian agrees to release and hold harmless:
- Darrin Madeley
- Camp staff, coaches, and volunteers
- The partner facility and its employees
from accidental injuries or property loss that occur during camp activities, except for injuries resulting from willful or intentional misconduct.
This clause does not waive liability for negligence, as prohibited under Illinois law.
7. MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION
In the event of an emergency where the parent/guardian cannot be reached, the Camp is authorized to:
- Seek medical treatment for the camper;
- Permit emergency medical personnel to evaluate and treat the camper;
- Arrange transportation to a hospital or clinic.
Parents/guardians agree to accept financial responsibility for any resulting medical expenses.
8. HEALTH & INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
Parents/guardians must provide accurate medical information during registration, disclose allergies or medical conditions, and confirm the camper is covered by personal or family health insurance.
9. ROOM ASSIGNMENTS (BOARDING CAMPERS)
Rooms can accommodate up to four campers. Roommate requests are accepted but cannot be guaranteed.
10. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Campers are responsible for their own equipment and personal property. The Camp is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
11. PHOTO, VIDEO & MEDIA CONSENT
Unless opted out during registration, the Camp may photograph or record campers for training, social media, or promotional purposes. No compensation is provided. Parents may decline by selecting “No” on the registration form.
12. WEBSITE USE
Users may not attempt to access restricted areas, introduce harmful scripts or malware, copy content for commercial use, or interfere with site functionality. We reserve the right to restrict access for any violations.
13. PRIVACY & DATA COLLECTION
The Camp only collects information voluntarily submitted through forms. Data is used solely for camp operations, communications, safety, and internal record-keeping. We do not sell or share personal information except as required by law or essential camp operations.
14. CHANGES TO CAMP DETAILS
Schedules, activities, staffing, and programming may change due to weather, facility adjustments, staffing availability, or safety needs. The Camp will make reasonable efforts to communicate changes.
15. TERMINATION OF PARTICIPATION
The Camp may remove any participant for unsafe, disruptive, or rule-violating behavior. No refunds will be issued for dismissed campers.
16. MODIFICATION OF TERMS
These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the site or participation in camp after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
